Wildcat5e finishes 9th in the State but just misses qualifying for the World Championship event

Wildcat5e finished a successful season last weekend at the State Championship in Macon. After the event, the team finished in 9th place overall for the season with 200 points. It was disappointing to not qualify for the Houston World Championship, but in every other way it was the most successful non-rookie season for the Wildcat5e program. The student accomplishments were significant:

-> Finished 2nd at Dalton and won the Industrial Engineering Award
-> Progressed to the semi-finals at Carrolton and won the Engineering Innovation award
-> Advanced to the quarterfinals at Macon and missed advancing to the semi-finals by only 3 points.  Won the Creativity Award

Although the team just missed advancing to the World Championship, what they accomplished has built a solid foundation and set a gold standard for the future. Congratulations to the entire team.
