To build a robot from scratch based on specified design parameters is a
monumental undertaking that is very similar to efforts by a high-tech startup company. We start with an identified problem, engineer a solution, build a prototype, test the prototype, and engage in all business aspects thereof.
This requires a substantial budget for fabrication tools, software, raw materials, and even specialized parts.  The competitions also involve travel and out-of-town lodging, and potentially out of state.  Because we receive limited financial support from the school system, we depend heavily on local businesses and corporate sponsors, who collectively fund 95% of our operating budget.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Wildcat5e FRC Robotics, Inc., so donations to us may be tax deductible. Some of the promotional benefits of being a sponsor are listed below. We  appreciate donations of any amount and kind (e.g., tools, equipment, materials, mentorship, software, services, and food/drink). Checks can be made out to Wildcat5e FRC Robotics. Also feel free to email us at [email protected].

In addition to the tangible benefits mentioned above, your donation has the following impact:
  • Skills learned fill the business and technical gaps in our workforce: Business, Management, Power tools, Programming, Electronics and Wiring, 3D modeling, Design, and Fabrication
  • Your potential future employees: When students start looking for a career, they will already be famliar with your company due to your support and dedication to our team
  • Community Service: We have a saying - "Steel sharpens steel."  Our students pay it forward - each generation passes knowledge onto the next.  This includes sharing our knowledge and excitement by engaging with middle school STEM students and others in the community.
